Guess what I found while browsing my family album!
As I mentioned in my last post, it was my 5th birthday when my parents gave me the most exciting gift I could dream of. I can't express how much I adored using this camera, snapping pics away! That Polaroid is the same one I'm holding in this picture, 25 years later (ouch!).
And as you can see, I still love the same kind of dresses ;)

Eccomi nel giorno del mio quinto compleanno, alle prese con il regalo piu' bello che potessi sognare. Quanto mi sono divertita con questa macchina fotografica e quanto tempo abbiamo passato assieme! La Polaroid e' la stessa che avete visto in questa foto, scattata 25 anni dopo (doh!).
E, come avrete notato, amo ancora lo stesso genere di abiti :D

Ary, grazie :) Peccato per quei capelli corti, mia madre pensava che fossero "piu' pratici" e così non ho mai avuto l'acconciatura da principessa che desideravo tanto! Ma ora mi sto prendendo la mia rivincita e li voglio ancora piu' lunghi ;D
Anch' io da bambina avevo sempre i capelli cortissimi, ma perché ero un maschiaccio, correvo e mi arrampicavo ovunque, ed ero la prima a volerli tagliati così! I capelli lunghi mi davano impiccio!
E come puoi vedere la penso ancora così!
Dopo averli portati lunghi per diversi anni, per la gioia di mia madre, li ho nuovamente fatti tornare a una lunghezza minima e mi sento rinata!

Oddio, anche mia madre mi ha sempre costretta ad avere i capelli perennemente a caschetto, un trauma. Ecco perché adesso non me li taglio più. Queste foto sono tenerissime e poi hanno quei colori che solo le vecchie analogiche avevano :)
@Steffy - I know they're so expensive, the film I bought was 18 euro, plus shipping.. for just 8 shots! It was fine for bringing my Polaroid back to life after so many years (it was amazingly exciting!), but definitely not something I could afford on a regular basis! ;)

How cute are you! I think a camera is such a wonderful gift for a child - children have such a sense of wonder and imagination about the world around them, which is so fabulously reflected in their photographs.
