I had such a lovely time in East London with my friends (meet Osvaldo!) and it was actually one of the most interesting areas that I visited during my trip. I was very surprised to find a farm just in the middle of the street, complete with pigs and donkeys! I loved the Columbia Road Flower Market, where at the end of the day everything had to be sold and if Geneviève's home wasn't at the other side of the city we would have gladly filled it with pretty hydrangeas and peonies. We had brunch with eggs benedict and a lazy stroll in Victoria Park, which was full of curious squirrels. Checked a few little vintage places (I'll tell you about my favorite one later), browsed through the beautiful art prints in Rob Ryan's shop and spent some time in the lovely boutique of miss Angela Flanders, she makes homemade perfumes and opens only on sundays. Oh, and had plenty of kitten encounters!

Oh e quanti gattini, erano dappertutto!

no kittens were harmed in this picture, I promise ;)

Oh Ale, I love seeing your London adventures so much! I wish I could join you - it looks like such fun! <3 The squirrels are so lovely too - we don't actually have any in New Zealand! It is very weird indeed!

Lost in the Haze: a Fashion Photography Blog
All of your London adventure posts and photos have been wonderful, and this one is no different. I have to say though that that picture of such a fantastic looking pig is my favourite, of all things!
Wow, this really looks like such a fun time! I would love to find a little market with all the beautiful flowers. Too bad you couldn't take them all home with you. Sometimes I even think it would be fun to take home a squirrel! haha.
XOXO
Oh I loved that walk ! I did about the same with my sister last week.
What about the lovely cake we ate at the Vintage Emporium ? That thing was sooo yummy !

Can’t wait to see more! A presto.
Bellissimo post, bellissime foto.
Ti ho aggiunta ai blog che seguo!

Che bella! Adoro l'ultima foto!

@Jo - oh thanks dear, I wish we could do that too! (really, no squirrels?)
@Rebecca - that pig was really amazing, I wish I had a sketchbook and a free afternoon to spend in the farm and draw all the animals :)
@Anna Banana - when I was little I was very close to take one home with me, he was so cute and friendly! But my mom wouldn't let me of course... >_<
@Geneviève - that is going to be my next post! The coffee cake was delicious indeed... *_*
@LeFreaks - grazie cara!
@Carla, Preziosa - grazie :)
@Kristian - that Mr.Pussy story was hilarious!
@Steffy Pros and Cons - yes! that would be sooo much fun! x
@Iris - grazie cara :*
@Olga, Rizza - thank you!
@Moda di coppia - grazie!
Hee hee! The 'no kittens were harmed" comment made me giggle :) So cute! Erica

Oh I LOVE THESE! So pretty. I want to go to London!
TVB!!!!
The place is really beautiful. I went to the same spot when I was staying in one of those cheap hotels in central london. It seems that everything is accessible from the place.
I totally agree that this place is amazing. It has been a great experience staying also at this hotel in paddington.
I suppose I can also try traveling to that spot when I'm in Europe. I really do hope it's accessible to lancaster gate hotel in london since that is going to be the place I am staying in.
How far is it from paddington station london? I would love to go there during our stay in the city. It's always nice to go to places less traveled because it would be less crowded than the usual tourist spots.
I agree with most of them, it would be nice to travel in East London, far from the hustle and bustle of Central London and away from the crowded area. Though, it's still ideal to stay there because there are a lot of cheap hotels where you can stay while in the city.
