Today I am very excited to share with you a peek at my very first guest post, which happens to be for one of my all time favorite blogs: Fancy Fine! I'm sure most of you are familiar with it, Ashley is such a fun, adorable lady with the dreamiest vintage wardrobe and always a huge smile on her face. So I was simply delighted when she asked me to be one of her guest bloggers, I hope you will enjoy my little post :)
The photographs were taken last week here in Turin, mostly at Galleria Subalpina, which is a breathtaking baroque gallery from 1873 just in the very heart of town. Under it you can find a historic cafe, an art gallery, an antiquarian bookstore and an old cinema, I love having always an excuse to walk across it as it connects two of the main squares of the city centre. Throughout the whole perimeter it's surrounded by a balcony, I can only let you imagine the view from there...
I wore my favorite 40s lace dress, which of course I managed to stain with strawberry ice cream right after taking that picture, hopelessly clumsy! Anyway there's a lot more pictures from that day on Ashley's blog, so make sure you check it out to see the full post! Click, click! x

Click, click! ;)

Orla Kiely sunglasses... Ahem !?
When did that happen ?
O___O
You look stunning on these pics my dear. That dress suits you a treat !
Don't worry, strawberry sorbet doesn't stain much.
Bisouuuus x
Haha, it happened right after I missed the other ones on ebay ;) And you know what, I like these so much better!
Thank goodness the ice cream stain on the dress is gone now, Turin is full of little fountains so I managed to save it just in time! xxx
(Why do I have the feeling that you *know* how much strawberry sorbet stains...? ;D)
Ah ah... I am more experienced with raspberry sorbet stains and they're a lot worse ^_^ !!
Adorabile!!! quel vestito è un vero must...baci!Chiara

pizzo rosa, bellissimo.

This dress is absolutely adorable and the neckline is just what I like! Dreamy :)
When I'm back home from Paris, I'm trying to persuade one of my old time friends to take a little trip to Italy (our home region is just across the border) and I'd love to visit Turin as it's not very far. I know you've been showing us around for quite a bit, but have you thought of putting together a real city guide? It would be much appreciated ^^ (best sights, cutest hidden treasures, vintage/antique shops, where to find reaaaaal italian ice creams(!), best cafés and restaurants...) ooow I wish I could be there right now!
By the way, this antique book shop seems to die for. Being the Art nouveau buff that I am, I'm pining over that "Novissima" book cover!
@Solange Garnier - thanks darling, I always love reading your comments :) A city guide for Turin, oh I'd LOVE to do that! It would also mean a brilliant excuse to eat more ice cream and sip coffee, so yeah why not ;) I'm going to be a little busy in the next few weeks for something that's going to happen in september (!) but I'll see what I can do :) And if you're coming to Turin earlier than that just drop me an email, I have lots of places to recommend you! x
All of these accessories are so perfect - the sunnies, the bag, the hasbeens, ah! I love the pink lace dress as well. Gorgeous as always~
I just adore your blog and was so thrilled to see you follow me on Instagram! :)

ooooh a special event in September, how thrilling! :) I'm guessing this might just be the sort of happy occasion where Orla should design a magnificent organdi princessy-but-cutesy dress just for your special day :) Best wishes to you in any case! I hope you have a marvelous time of it.
I'm glad you like the idea and will patiently wait for you to craft the guide. In any case my trip won't happen till later in the fall or maybe winter, since I already have quite a big journey across the pond the the Big Apple planned this month, so I still have plenty of time ;)
Thanks a million anyway, you made Turin quite the exciting destination :)
@Catherine - ooh I had no idea that you read this blog, thanks for your lovely comment ;) x
@Adored vintage - of course, I love your instagrams! :)
@Clo - Torino e' proprio così, ti piacerebbe molto!
@Alessandra - grazie cara *_*
@Solange Garnier - good!!! That means that you'll have to give me some advices this time ;) I'm going to New York in October for about a week and would definitely use some good suggestions, especially hotel wise! x
What amazing books... You really have a lovely blog :)
This is my first time to your blog, so pretty! You're everywhere except bloglovin, my favorite place to follow blogs on. Maybe you'll pop over there?
